All of our items are reviewed for quality when they enter our inventory.
Our multi-point review checks:
- Style
- Brand
- Quality
- Season
- Wear and Damage
Once items are accepted, they are approved as they are either gently used, or they are in Brand New condition. At times we may identify minor issues which a purchaser can address while taking advantage of a greater discount. Those items will have a price adjustment, and examples are sole scuffs or interior blemishes on handbags.
To describe our quality selection, we use this rating system.
- New: Brand new with (or without) original packaging and tags.
- Excellent: Virtually new, worn minimally if at all. No visible flaws.
- Very Good: Gently used with minor signs of wear. Overall great condition.
- Good: Moderately used with noticeable wear, but no major flaws.
Swap Boutique will not sell any items with less than a GOOD rating.
